From smoother roads to stronger seawalls, safer buildings, better drainage and upgraded parks, our teams have been busy improving the places our community lives, works and visits every day.
On the ground, the team rolled out road rehabilitation, resurfacing and patching works in Bayview, Beacon Hill and Narraweena, while also renewing kerbs, gutters and footpaths in Mona Vale, Brookvale and North Balgowlah. It’s the kind of work that often happens quietly in the background but has a big impact on safety, access and everyday journeys.
The wins didn’t stop there. The team also delivered upgrades at Thomas Stephens Reserve, Church Point, stormwater improvements in Fairlight and at Smith Street to help tackle local drainage issues.
There was also lighting upgrades at Keirle Park in Manly and Boondah fields plus a long list of building and facility improvements including the Print Room move to Cromer.
A huge shout-out to everyone that is helping improve the Northern Beaches.
